The coordinator of WiTEC Spain is the UPC Women's Programme, created by the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) in order to increase the proportion of girls in their studies. Programa Dona is an organisation promoted by the UPC which aims to increase the number of women studying technical careers in order to reach a gender balance in the technological and scientific field and, therefore, in the labour market. We work on educational programmes for young women collaborating with many institutions in projects related to women in Science and Technology working towards gender equality in decision making, development and recruitment of women.
